PROGRAMS

Our club provides world-class rhythmic gymnastics training, from our youngest members who want to explore gymnastics in a fun atmosphere, to competitive athletes at Provincial, Regional, National Team and International Competition levels.

Designed for girls aged 4 and up, this program provides an opportunity to learn the basics of the sport in a fun atmosphere. Classes are held weekly. Gymnasts will perform as a unified team for family and friends. We teach fundamental dance moves and introduce rhythmic gymnastics skills with balls, hoops, ropes and ribbons. Musical movement, fun and creative routines are combines to give beginners an introduction to the beautiful sport of rhythmic gymnastics.

Accepts new members by audition only. The time and level of commitment required is dependent on the experience and age of the gymnast. Coaches prepare a personalized training program and assign gymnasts to their levels and training groups. Our training programs prepare each gymnast for competitions. Aura Rhythmics gymnasts are registered members of the BCRSGF and RGC/GCG. Their training follows a program according to FIG rules. Aura Rhythmics has a tradition of training gymnasts that have consistently ranked in the medals at provincial, regional and international championships.

All athletes (including recreational and beginners) must pay an annual registration fee to the provincial sports organization, BCRSGF. This payment is required in order to secure your spot and to begin training.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Note: The commitment to train with Aura Rhythmics is for the whole competitive year (September to June). Payment is due on the first training day of September, or on the first day of the month of each installment period, if applicable. See details below.

Recreational and Beginner levels require full payment by the first day of training.

Competitive levels have the option to pay in full, or pay in 2 or 3 installments.

Installment Option A (2 installments): September to January tuition fees are paid on the first training day of September, and February to June tuition fees are paid on February 1st.

Installment Option B (3 installments): September to December tuition fees are paid on the first training day of September, January to March tuition fees are paid on January 1st, and April to June tuition fees are paid on April 1st.

A $50 late penalty will be charged for overdue payments.

There is no refund for vacation or sickness. The missed classes can be made up on other days, at times convenient for both coaches and scheduling.

We require a month notice. A 10% fee of the annual tuition will be charged

Private classes are very valuable for working on the routines, the details of the technique, and any other individual needs of the gymnasts.
We strongly encourage, especially the competitive gymnasts from Western and National Stream, to book private lessons for choreography. Choreography is a creative process and it will give the coaches a chance to focus only on one person and one routine at a time. Please schedule your private lessons for choreography directly with your coach.


The cost for Private lessons is: 1hour – $80; 1.5 hours – $110; 2 hours – $130
Later in the year, when the routines are ready, we offer semi-private lessons: 1.5 hours (2 athletes) – $120

Music fees are due in January. The cost for new music is $65. For shared music is $35.

The cost for ballet is very reasonable as it is shared among the gymnasts participating. The ballet fees will be collected in the beginning of the year.

The competition expenses may vary depending on level and location (travel, hotel cost, food etc.). It also includes the registration fee and coaches’ fees and expenses.
